               Welcome

"Through the heartfelt mercies of our God, God’s Sunrise will break in upon us, Shining on those in the darkness, those sitting in the shadow of death, Then showing us the way, one foot at a time, down the path of peace." - Luke 1:78-79

Who We Are

At the Kittanning Free Methodist Church, we aim to love God, love people, and make disciples while expanding the kingdom of God in Armstrong County.

Our church has a long history of serving Kittanning, Pa, and the surrounding communities.  We are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, serving the poor and marginalized in our city, and are here to spread the Gospel.

Our worship service meets at 10:00  am in person and online. If you plan on joining us in person, please free to come as you are. We are a pretty informal congregation and want everyone to feel comfortable. The service is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship.

 Worship Gatherings

Our primary worship gathering begins at 10 am on Sunday mornings. You can participate in our gathering in person or through our live streams on Youtube and FacebookOur service is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Please come as you are. We want you to feel comfortable as you worship.

We also have a worship service called God's Choice. This is a service dedicated to meeting the needs of folks with special needs, disabilities, and those who care for them. This service meets on the first and third Monday of every month at 5 p.m. There is a meal, singing, prayer, a Bible story, and lots of fun.

Once a month we gather at The Table. The Table is a different kind of worship gathering. On the last Sunday of each month, we gather together at the church for a shared meal, communion, singing, and a time of prayer and praise. We meet together at 5:30. This is a great opportunity to fellowship, pray together, and express our gratitude for all that God is doing in our lives. This is open to everyone. You don't need to be a part of our church to participate. We invite everyone to bring a dish to share with others but you don't have to bring a dish to come.

Finally, we have what we call Open Sanctuary on Wednesdays from noon - 1 pm. It's a time when folks can come to pray, contemplate, and reflect. You can come for a few minutes or for the whole hour. Come and pray or come and be prayed for.
